Today’s router and switch marked is dominated by a few, big vendors. Among them, Cisco is still the leading one, who was challenged by Huawei.
Most people working in the Ethernet/IP sector are probably familiar with Cisco equipment and their configuration. In comparison, Huawei is a new-comer on the market. Therefore, we’re offering this course series to compare the new-comer with the established vendor.
In this course, we’ll look the command structure of both vendors. After an introduction in basic configuration and command architecture, we will focus on the routing protocols OSPF and ISIS. After a protocol refresher of both IGPs, the general configuration of both will be presented in a comparative manner.

Target Group / Requirements

The course is addressing network operators and monitors, who are familiar with Cisco and want to get to know Huawei, or vice versa.
